W204 No Power to modules after reconnecting battery
2010 MERCEDES C300 4MATIC SPORT
Initial Issue:
Check engine light popped on, no scanner could establish a connection
What I tried:
-I read something online about having every module off when checking resistances so I disconnected the battery
-Checked resistance on OBD pins 6 and 14, right at 60 OHMS.
-Checked the rest of the pins for 0L / 12v and they all checked out.
-Reconnected the battery and now the car has no power to any module, the key fob buttons are unresponsive now, none of the exterior lights work. OBD still reads 12V
Where should I go from here? The car was running fine with the check engine light on, but I figured I need to fix the connection issue asap before the car STOPS working.
I purchased the Mercedes Repair Programs, the download won't be done for another couple hours with my slow internet, figured I would start with asking here.
