Will a 2013 C300 4 Matic differential fit on a 2008 C350?

Will a 2013 C300 4 Matic differential fit on a 2008 C350?
Hello everyone,
Ive been helping my brother locate and replace his rotted through rear subframe. Luckily, i found a very good used one that was pulled as a unit(everything still attached including differential and suspension components) off of a 2013 C300 4 matic sport. I confirmed the part numbers matched for the subframe however I am having trouble finding any technical data for the differentials to see if i have to swap them out. Hoping not to so its a clean easy swap. I can’t find the final drive axle ratio for either although i did find the Gear ratios and they match up. So my question is, are they compatible?

Doubtful. Donor car has M276/7G and your brother's car has M272/7G. Gear ratio, propshaft and other parts may not be 100% compatible.
One car is 4MATIC, the other appears to be RWD.

Your brother's car is RWD, the donor car is 4MATIC.
Speedometer will be off on your brother's car because of the different gear ratio. Acceleration will be a bit quicker, top speed will be reduced. Shift points may be wonky.
Summary: don't do it, even if it fits.
