2009 w204 engine replacement
Hi, I have a 2009 c350 w204, My engine is not repairable (long story short, it was taken apart by a mechanic and when it was started up again it ripped a good chunk of metal.
so now I just want to buy a used w204 c350 engine and replace the old engine.
Does anyone have any experience? or know where to find a good engine?
I also am not sure how to find a match for my engine, Ive seen lots of variants of this engine.
I would also like to decode my vin if possible.
it was giving me camshaft and timing issues before it was completely not running.

To find another engine, well, start with Google. Do you have a local junk yard? Have you tried ebay?
