Water got in… now getting error PRESAFE FUNCTIONS LIMITED
Hi all.
rained hard for a while. Drain holes at lower windshield we’re clogged. Water got into the drivers floorboard (a lot. It was a good puddle). After that. The message appeared. It also says Cruis control inoperative. ABS inoperative. Traction control inoperative. Used a OBDII and got codes U0121, U0155, P2610. Also have check engine light on.
im hoping it’s just some sensor contacts that got wet. I let the car sit for 2 days in the garage with non stop fan blowing toward the lower dash. Still get the error messages.
any ideas before I take it to the dealer would be appreciated.
thanks all

I would check the fuse box in the engine compartment next to the brake fluid reservoir. to see if this was the original source of water entry via the cowling area...is the rubber gasket around the driver's wiper shaft torn ? The drain on the cowling would also flood the SAM if plugged. This fuse box (or SAM as it is also called) can be unbolted and lifted up for access to the wires/connectors underneath which can then be inspected, dried.
