W204 upgrading to facelift instrument cluster
It's been a while since I've been on the platform and I hope everyone is doing great.
I apologize in advance in case I'm posting this in the wrong place or there has been already posted about this but based on my research I couldn't find anything. I got myself a lovely w204 2009 cdi and unfortunately it has the basic instrument cluster. It doesn't even have a display except for the one that shows the mileage, below is a photo attached I found online. I was surprised you could even get them with this basic instrument cluster back in 2009.
Anyway, I'd like to upgrade to a newer one, even to a facelift one if it's possible and to go along upgrade the steering wheel as well since the original one only has 2 buttons since there's no menus on the dash to scroll through. Has anyone done this? Is there anything else I have to keep in mind except for swaping and coding the new dash and steering wheel?
I appreciate every feedback

facelift w204, prefacelift w205 or facelift w205 (aka the 2020 wheel)
these arnt plug and play; you will either need to solder some wires yourself or find a company that does the work for you. carismo or rucarbon are best in the biz for this kind of work
