I need to order rear calipers for my wife's 2012 C250 coupe and I'm having trouble identifying if it's a sport model or not. In the front it does have drilled rotors and in the rear non-drilled rotors. And she has 17" rims. How can I 100% confirm if she has the Sport model? I've tried searching using the VIN but nowhere did it say Sport model on the free Web VIN search pages I found. Here's a picture of the interior.
Also would the rear calipers for a 2012 C250 Sport SEDAN fit the COUPE model? And do I need aluminum, cast iron or premium model? Or are they all interchangeable? Seems very confusing.... I'm in Canada and these caliper rebuilds are hard to find but here's a link I may want to order from (just so you can see the options).
I don't know for certain, but just looking on rockauto.com, it appears the coupe Sport has vented rear disks, while the coupe non-Sport has non-vented disks. That should be a pretty easy way to figure out whether you need Sport parts or not.
Again, just going off rockauto.com's listings, it appears that the sedan Sport does not have those ventilated disks; their listings show the same rotor for sedan Luxury or sedan Sport. So ordering sedan Sport parts will not help you if you determine your coupe is a Sport.
