The distributor block in the image below belongs to the passenger footwell of 2012 c250 turbo. The block is rusted from water damage. There are only two wires as in the image and my question is, Are the two wires connected and can I eliminate the distributor by cutting the two wires and connect them directly since Iam not going to add any devices to the block.
They don’t look connected. But that’s a power distribution bloc, so it doesn’t look like it does anything without more connections. Maybe someone has a wiring diagram.
It’s a $10-$15 part. Maybe replace it to be on the safe side?
It is a canbus distribution block. I wouldn’t get rid of it. Perhaps, just replace the block. I am surprised that there are no devices plugged into it. Mine has a few items plugged into it

Do you think this is the problem with the Turbo?
Do you think this would through a code and check engine light?
Do you think this is causing the turbo to roar and moan when I get my foot off the gas pedal?
I bought an after market blow off valve for replacement in the image below, Do you think it will fix the issue. I have not receive it yet
From the image you've shared, it looks like the distributor block in your car's passenger footwell has been damaged by water, causing rust.
If you're thinking about bypassing the distributor block by cutting and connecting the two wires directly, it might work if you're not planning to add any new devices. However, I'd advise caution and recommend consulting with a professional electrician first to ensure it's a safe and effective solution for your specific situation.
In my experience, when I needed electrical work done, I reached out to PSC Electrical, and they were a great help. They might be able to offer some advice or assistance with your issue.
