Fault m55 intake port shutoff actuator and limp mode
Hello all!
An owner of 2011 Mercedes W204 C220 OM651 engine.
Mercedes dealer replaced my rear axle due to corrosion, and they logged the 'Fault m55 intake port shutoff actuator' fault.
Car has also started to go into occasional limp mode, which disappears after turning the engine on and off.
Is the actuator motor faulty and needs to be replaced? Can this be simply switched off using software? Or the fault code is too vague and this has to be diagnosed with STAR?
I would be very grateful for any advice to point me at the right direction.
