C220 CDi gone now have a C300
Hi all,
Well here in New Zealand, the price of diesel has now surpassed that of 91 octane petrol.
I have owned my C220 CDi for about two years now. Whilst it is a good ‘daily hack’, I have decided to go back to a petrol powered car instead. A diesel is now more expensive to run and maintain here than a petrol.
I have just purchased a 2010 C300, is ex Japan, in Obsidian Black. Has the half leather seats, navigation and parking sensors. Luckily no sunroof, I’ve never been a fan of those!
It shows a mileage of just under 86,000 kilometres.
It will be going to a firm that can change the radio frequencies to our range and also get New Zealand navigation loaded to the unit.
It gets delivered to me in two days time.
I’ll post some pics once I’ve got it here and made sure it’s clean!

MBWorld Fanatic!
That’s essentially case in the US, too. The difference is that the combined efforts of GM & VW had all but killed off passenger car diesels years before the price of diesel fuel rose.
