I think this topic has probably been beaten to death but I just want to confirm that a W203 rim will NOT fit in any way on a W204.
Long story short, I bought a set of used rims from what I thought were for a W204(guy told me they came off a 2009 C300). I wanted a second set of rims for winter tires.
These are the rims I purchased.
Of course when I went to install the rims, I noticed that the lug studs were not long enough to reach the centre hub. I was hoping I could just buy longer studs, but after now doing some research that seems to be not the case. Am I completely hooped?
I know, I know, I should have done my homework before purchasing the rims and should have checked the part number on the rims before buying them from the guy but I just took him at his word that they were from the same model as mine. Lesson learned.
