Intercooler blown!?
Hello MB friends,
Recently my Mercedes C220 blew the intercooler! I think it has warped over time and now it gave up and blew a hole in itself. The car lost a lot of power and shifted weirdly afterwards. It should be said that everything on the car is original and OE parts.
The thing is, we swapped in a new intercooler (Cheap model from MaxGear) read: not OE part, and it blew apart in the plastic piece holding onto the aluminum almost instantly! My question is, can it just be a ****ty intercooler I’ve bought, or do you think the problem lies somewhere else?
