Hello Everyone! I am kind of stumped on my 2013 C300 4 matic. I am trying to replace the intermediate shaft on the front driver side as the CV axle keeps popping out due to intermediate shaft thread is stripped and cant hold the c ring on the shaft. I have tried to use a vice grip on the end of the shaft and hammer it but wont budge. Slide hammer wont work as I cant grip onto anything on the shaft. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? Please help thank you!

Came across this since I was looking up intermediate shaft but, you know there's a C-clip on that bearing right? You need C-Clip pliers and the clip comes out of the slot adjacent to the bushing and then the shaft slides out, may take a bit of rotating but it comes out pretty easily.
I am in this same position right now. I removed the c clip holding the bearing into the transmission. I have a large slide hammer and the shaft nor the bearing are moving. For those who have removed the intermediate shaft from the transmission...what tools or techniques did you use. Mine is not coming out!!
