Hi all,

Mercedes c180 coupe, c204 series, 2014, Petrol

I noticed an electric hum coming from the back. I can hear it in the cabin.
I brought the car to one repair shop. They said they dont know what is that.
I brought the car to a Mercedes specialist, they said they do not hear it.

There were no hums before, now there is and I want to avoid the scenario to have the car towed from 100 miles of London.
Does anyone have similar problems, or suggest what is that?

My bet is fuel pump, but I ve been told when that fails, the car stops.

Also, you can her that clicking, which I thought it is the metal when it is cooling down and shrinking. But I can hear it all the time even after 10 minutes drive. I never hear that from other cars.
Any suggestions on that one?

I maintain this car well, I regularly service it, I bring it to Mercedes every year for a general check up, and to independent repair shops in between when needed.
