Bypassing factory amplifier

Bypassing factory amplifier
Hey guys, my amplifier went out on my 2010 c350, I was going to replace it with an oem amplifier. I was also considering just getting an aftermarket amp and subwoofer and bypass my factory amp with a harness. Right now im getting no audio from my head unit and found out my amp was bad. Would this bypass work? or would it still not play because my factory amp is out?
