2012 C300 sport
Wheel size
I would like to change my wheels from the stock 17” to 18” with a wider tire front and rear. Does anyone have a suggestion for a slightly more aggressive look. I have 2012 C300 sport on stock 17s.

AMG 18s staggered:

225/40 in the front
255/35 in the rear

Looks good and the ride is still tolerable.

Thank you for the response. When you say tolerable I imagine the ride is a little harsher. Is there a way to soften that with coil overs/strut and shocks?

Of course the ride is going to be slightly harsher with less sidewall, but hardly noticeable.

In regards to your question about coil overs/strut and shocks, I can unfortunately not help you, as I always left these things alone.

Soft compound tires can compensate for slightly stiffer ride. Stick with all season tires that have both high speed ratings (W, Y) and low temperature performance (<45F, <7C).

My '13 C250 purchased new in 2012 came with Pirelli P-Zero 225/40/18 Front and 255/35/18 Rear. We replaced the original tires it came with last week at 25k miles.
