Hello everyone, i have a 2010 w204 c200 manual with about 250.000km that is stuck on limp mode for about 3 months now and the check engine light is on, ive noticed that when it went into limp mode it doesn't tell me when to change gear on the dashboard, ive tried everything i can to fix the limp mode and nothing seems to help me fix or diagnose it, if i bring it to a mercedes dealer i will probably have to pay an arm and a leg to get it fixed. When it first appeared i scanned it with some cheap diagnostic tool and i got some EGR reading, i opened the EGR valve and i cleaned it good but it didnt help, the check light was still on. I scanned it with autocom on my laptop and i got the following error codes: p2074 unknown fault code, p2463 soot content from dpf too high, p2454 differential pressure sensor 1 in the dpf, p244B dpf differential pressure, p0629 fuel pump control unit.
When i delete the error codes the check engine goes away and the car still doesnt go above 3k rpms (because of limp mode) and the only fault code remaining is p2074 and it says its and unknown fault code. So far ive taken out the dpf and cleaned it, replaced the dpf differential pressure sensor, replaced the mass air sensor, replaced the throttle flap, replaced boost pressure sensor, replaced throttle body, replaced intake manifold boost pressure. Ive also tried to regenerate the dpf while driving but the computer told me that the regeneration was unsuccessful. I have no idea what to do anymore, any kind of help is appreciated. I also apologize for any grammar mistakes, english is not my first launguage.
I have the same, issue did you ever figure out what the issue was?
Thanks
Joe
no sadly, i cannot figure out what is causing the problem, if you figure it out please respond, i bought another diesel mixture that is supposed to clean the dpf out, im gonna try it later this week, ill keep you updated.
