Can the Launch X431 Pro Mini Code an ABS Control Module on the W204?
My ABS light started flashing when I drive over 15mph and I found it has a DTC 5001 fault. I would like the do the repair myself with a used ABS control module.
I know the used module I get needs to be paired with the VIN of my car coded to it. I'm considering either of these:
LAUNCH X431 Diagun V Elite
LAUNCH X431 PRO Mini Elite
Does anyone know if either of these can do this?
I reached out to LaunchTech USA, but they told me the "Launch x431 Pro" and any similar LAUNCH products found on Amazon or ebay are from "Launch Global" and they are totally separate companies. Even though the products have similar names, they are different products.
It looks like the LAUNCH x431 PAD V supports what I want, at least this video makes me think so
But that tool cost too much. I could not find any official looking Launch website for the Pro Mini or Diagun scanners, or any list of supported vehicles and functions. (Infact there are tons of X431 variants on ebay I can't find any info on, and even some "Kingbolen" that look really really similar)
