I recently purchased some Spyder projector headlights from VIPMotoZ for my C350, but I'm running into issues. The low beams and high beams work perfectly. However, the Halo/DRL and turn signals do not work for either side. I receive an error message in the dash for both the DRLs and turn signals.
Unfortunately, both VIPMotoZ and Spyder are offering absolutely no support. VIPMotoZ just tells me to return them for a refund and Spyder tells me to work with VIPMotoZ to return them... I have told them both that I don't really want to return them. Returning them doesn't really solve my problem. I like them and want to keep them. I would just like to be able to get them working correctly.
It seems pretty unlikely that both sides are defective, so my guess is that there is something else going on. I was hoping to get some troubleshooting assistance from them or at the very least, a wiring diagram/schematic, but I haven't had any luck at all.
I've attached pictures of the OEM/Stock headlights as well as the harness connected to the new headlights. Any ideas what the issue could be or what I should check?
You can test them with a 12v battery, the middle large one is the ground.
Likely you just need resistors for both, I guess they didn't come with them.
Thanks for the info! This gives me something that I can try to work from. Do you happen to have any ideas on the type of resistors that would be needed?
