Last week I took my car out from storage and I believe the brake was stuck since have not drive for 6 month. And I apply more gas and it work. Then the ABS and tracking light pop.
I follow the manual drive it slowly and was clear. And before that I use a scanner and say Left rear speed sensor failure. The ABS and Tracking message did not come back since.
But the red "Check Tires pressure soon" keep coming back even the tires pressure are all good and I reset it again and again. It still coming back.
Is that cause by the rear left speed sensor is acting up ?
Are you looking at the screen that shows each tires pressure on the dash? On mine if the pressure is too low in a tire it will show that specific tire pressure in red on the dash.
Are the tires at the pressures listed on the fuel filler door?
This model 2012 C350 coupe have no TPMS and the screen will not show each wheel tire pressure set at. I just double check the front set ar 39 psi and rear 41 psi that is what shown on inside driver door.
So when you go into the SERVICE MENU and scroll down to TIRE PRESSURE it does not show each tires pressure?
Just to rule it out have you checked the spare tire in the trunk. I dont know if the system detects the spare, maybe it does.
How are you resetting the system? I was looking through the 2012 Operators manual and it looks very similar to my 2010. I downloaded a few pages. I find it confusing since im not sure what is specific to CA cars.
I would check the tire pressures with a tire gauge. Get in the car and drive around the block. Then follow the manual to reset the values, look to see if there is a USE CURRENT PRESSURES AS NEW REFERENCE VALUES.
If that doesn't work and the warning keeps popping up im wondering if maybe the batteries in a sensor may be low. When I took mine to have a sensor replaced the tire shop was able to scan all the sensors and see the battery levels, which is how I knew one of my rears needed replacing soon. I know my Foxwell scanner can read the sensors but not sure about battery life.
Also searching around for this issue I've read that maybe a sensor is damaged.
