Sunroof motor making grinding/clicking at end of travel?
Hello Guys, On my 2009 C300 the sunroof works in every position but have to push button a bunch of times to get the roof to open and close. I tried the ReSync in all different ways and it will not sync the system to get the roof to work correctly. Also at the end of any function (closing,opening,tilt and slide),I get the grinding/clicking for a few seconds from what it sounds like gears slipping towards the end. I have 3 trouble codes present for the overhead console 987d16 (pwr supply to sensors tilting/sliding roof has malfunction. Limit value not attained),A22754(Internal fault in control unit.Calibration of control unit lost),A22755(Component not configured). Anyone have experience with these problems? I was ready to purchase another motor but not sure that is the problem? Thank You in advance.

I use my sunroof everty time I get in the car except winter and never had any issues. Do you clean and lubricate tilt/sliding roof mechanism every 2yrs/20,000 miles? I do it yearly.
