My C230 just developed a very loud whining noise. I took the serpentine belt off and noise persisted. I had an automatic transmission specialist come and check at home because do not want to drive it. He said it is not the transmission and all pullies to the front are ok.
This noise is a constant loud whine but die go up and down slightly by revving .
Anyone that has any idea of this noise.
