2011 C180 CGI timing problem
Hello everybody, I have 2011 C180 CGI with M271 engine from several months. When I bought it I replaced timing chain, tensioner, camshaft sprockets together with valves, oil and oil filter with oil filter box.
Last moth occasionally when the engine is in working temperature and the car is in idle in jam, engine start rattling as diesel for some moments. When I connected the diagnostic device the DTC is P001762 - "The position of the exhaust camshaft (cylinder bank 1) is implausible relative to position of the crankshaft. The signal comparison is faulty". After some time the second DTC appears P001477 - "The position of the exhaust camshaft (cylinder bank 1) deviates from the specified value, The commanded position cannot be reached." But the engine is running well and there is no strange noise. Replaced the camshaft position sensor - same result. At the weekend will open the engine cover in order to check visually the camshafts adjustment. the crankshaft sensor is not replaced, also and electromagnets, driving the timing change valves. Could you give some advice, how to proceed.
Thanks!
