OM646 C220 - loses strength momentarily
Hello everybody!
I've had a 2008 W204 C220 with an OM646 engine and particulate filter for many years.
In the last week, when driving on the highway, sometimes the car loses power only to regain strength after a few seconds. I don't feel any other changes.
Sometimes it goes into safety mode, other times it doesn't.
By turning the engine off and on again, the error light turns off and the car exits safe mode.
I carried out a diagnosis and the error that appears on an AUTEL diagnostic machine is:
- 22A5 - B19/11 temperature sensor before the turbocharger
- 2299 - Diesel particulate filter intake rate is too high.
- 22E3 - check the boost pressure regulation system
With the Torque application, less specific and certain, I know, it returns the error:
- P2263 - Turbo/Super Chager boost performance.
I changed the temperature sensor in the middle of the particle filter a few months ago.
I can't see on the engine diagram where the temperature sensor will be before the turbocharger. Does anyone have an idea of the location? Or the part number?
So I wanted to start with the most basic and change this sensor, to see if it could be false readings that cause what was described.
Thank you all for your help!
