How is your battery or the alternator? Did you check the voltage on the battery?

Get a proper scanner and scan for codes. Don't waste your money of generic OBD scanners. Be sure to use the coupon.

EVERY Mercedes owner should have the proper scan tool, for a bunch of reasons. These cars are sophisticated electronically and become more temperamental as they age. One trip to the dealer to diagnose a problem will pay for the scanner. Sometimes the "fix" is simply to clear a code. Most times, even after a repair (e.g., new battery) you may need to clear codes.

Update

So just got ready to go have alternator and battery tested . Get in the car all the lights came on but car didn’t even attempt to turn over , put jumper cables on it and it started immediately , no lights on the dash anymore , drive to parts house they tested battery alternator starter etc and everything came back good . Car started fine leaving parts house and no lights on dash .

Do you have just one battery in the engine bay or do you have a second battery in the trunk?

Could be a grounding issue. Battery cable issue, corrosion. Maybe a wiring issue at the front SAM.

So many symptoms the car should be scanned to lead you in the right direction. Will just be guessing without it.

i don’t have a second battery that I’ve ever seen . I’m seeing some reports of similar but not exact issues with the prefuse box f32 . Is that what you mean by the front Sam? I’m new to Mercedes so not very familiar with some of the terms

The front SAM (signal Acquisition Module ) is the fuse box in the drivers side engine bay. The photo below is not of your specific Mercedes but shows where its located, the fuse box diagram is accurate.

This link will show you the 3 fuse box locations and what each fuse/relay is for: https://fuse-box.info/mercedes-benz/...uses-and-relay

i have seen posts from people where water got in that area and messed everything up, they ended up replacing it. Im not saying thats what happened in your case. But never know. Was it raining? Have you have any work done to the lately?

Try checking in there, use a flash light to inspect all the fuses to see if one may be blown.
