Brake fluid leak

I got a 2012 c350 sedan . I got a "check brake fluid level" message and after checking I seen it was at min, I topped it off and noticed there's a small leak behind the drivers side front wheel, after doing some research I’ve learned that the brake lines get rusted and start leaking, I was wondering how much it’s going to cost to replace or fix lines. Want a rough estimate to make sure whoever replaces/ fixes it is charging fair price

The break lines are both alloy (from the ABS unit) to the inside of the wheel arch. There they connect ro a rubber line that goes to the brake caliper. The alloy lines run to each wheel arch and incl the back of the car and do the same thing.

Looking at the locaton of the drip, looks like ou're halfway along. Could be the brake booster leaking or an alloy line. Its hard to tell given the location of the drip. The lines are meant to be alloy which shouldn't corrode but this is a bit questionable as to quality as you've read.

Replacement boosters and lines can be found at Rock Auto and FCP Euro I'd say. Safety first means don't drive it until fixed as you could get total brake failure with further fluid loss.

My brake lines are rusty and corroded at areas, mostly the rear passenger side where it runs parallel to the sway bar. I have no idea how much it will cost but I know the dealer charges alot. The new brake lines come rolled up and have to be formed. Im thinking any brake shop can do the job.

You will have to inspect the entire brake line system and see the condition, may be worth having everything addressed at once while its being worked on.

I know just the damaged sections can be replaced without doing the entire line. heres an example I found, its of a W204 brake line repair on the drivers side rear at the front of the rear wheel. They just spliced into the line and replaced the rear section.
