I was driving the car for a couple of days and today we were going up a hill and when the transmission downshifted and then the car misfired all the way after.
Sorry I forgot my car is a 2013 MB C250 with 96k miles. I just took out the coil packs but need to buy a spark plug socket and maybe spark lugs. I am not sure if they have the original plugs readily available on Guam. Napa sells all kind from iridium to laser platinum but I do not think these are Bosch can I use these? It will take me 10 to 14 days to order the OEM plugs no dealer on Guam. I also replaced the air intake tube (hose) which was all taped up when I got the car.

It would help is you tell us where you are from (in your profile display) and the year and model of your car.
If you don't have a Mercedes specific scanner, get one like the LAUNCH Creader Elite 2.0 BENZ and keep it in your car. $159 with coupon from Amazon.
I have the Carly universal which I use to diagnose and code my BMW's for may years I think it will also work before I buy a different one. This car is new to me and I am not sure if the plugs were ever replaced at 96k I will just replace them and go from there. Thanks

Napa should have the NGK 94716 spark plugs and 0.032” gap is correct. However, your M271 engine is direct injection and the plugs should be indexed. The MB OE plugs are built to index correctly when torqued to spec. The aftermarket plugs are not guaranteed to do this. The electrode placement on the M271 is not super critical, but there is a 30 degree range where the electrode could block the injector and contribute to misfires. That’s part of the reason the MB plugs are $25 in the lower 48 and the off-the-shelf ones are $10. (Statistically there a 70% chance everything’s okay without indexing).

Reason: Didn’t consider Guam

Thank you for that information I have no choice because all the plugs here cost $22.70 ~ $23.92 and these are not original MB where can I buy original MB plugs online?

Guam is part of the U.S. I would think you are covered by MBUSA.
Guam is a unique situation shipping from the mainland to Guam is considered domestic and from Guam to the mainland is considered international. Unfortunately they do not ship to Guam

Does Amazon ship to Guam? They list the MB OE spark plugs and they appear to say they do.
If not, there is a decent chance you’ll be okay with off the shelf NGK, Bosch, or Autolite.
Took out the coils and marked them from which cylinder they belonged to. Parts coils, plugs and spark plug socket have not arrived . Yesterday I needed to move the car so I placed the coils back and the car had no CEL and no misfire could have this been cause by the broken air intake tube? just sharing anyway the parts arrive tomorrow so I will still replace the plugs and the coils even though there is no longer a misfire. I hope it does not come back.

For $159, it is probably the best Mercedes scanner available. It's the one that is referred to a lot here.
Do you need multiple brands? If not, stick to one dedicated to Mercedes. The LAUNCH scanner does allow you to add other brands individually through its Mall.
I almost stripped my coil pack bolts because I read somewhere it was10 lb/ft this is wrong it is supposedly 10Nm. For someone new like me this could be disastrous. Be careful and don't just follow any post.
I think the cause of the misfire was the broken hose which was part of the airintake tube. The car now drives like a dream 💛
