W204 - WARRANTY SUBFRAME REPAIR
Hey everyone,
I had my subframe repaired by my local MB dealer under the extended warranty recall.
They were cool enough to istall the control arms I had already purchased and added in other parts.
You can go check it out on my YouTube channel @ antboiis garage. I posted before it went in and the after!
Check if your car is part of the recall here - https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aai...7-27ce618cbb3e
Or just Google 'w204 subframe warranty" and it'll pop right up.

How bad was your subframe? Had it failed yet?

@JettaRed It was rusted and rotted through in a couple spots. Had some real bad body roll when I would get on it getting on the highway and if I hit a bump. I posted a pic of the official write up below. It was rotted so bad they couldn't reuse the body mount. I'd say it was on its way out to fail and definitely unsafe to drive.
ALSO to anyone doing this. I suggest you look at your other rear end components and if you're planning on keeping the car have them replaced. They literally need to drop the whole rear suspension out to replace the subframe. I had them put control arms in, springs, shocks, rear sway bar and a diff service.
