W204 Service BH Due- Workshop Code 1460B

My C300 4matic has a little over 155K miles and the dash is showing Service BH due soon. Wondering if anyone happens to have the actual list of what these codes are exactly.

I did some searching online and came up with all types of answers, most seem made up and wrong. Few times it seems people are claiming the service letters mean the amount of time the service will take, which sounds a bit out there.

Since owning the car i have gone through the maintenance manual that came with the operators manual and im up to date on just about everything. The only 2 things I havent done yet is replace the fuel filter (150,000 miles or 15yrs) and Trans service (records show it was done at 40k and 80k- 120k not done so im overdue). I have a new trans pan and all the supplies so its on my list.

I've been pretty good maintaining the car down to things like cleaning/greasing sunroof, brake fluid flush every 2yrs etc. Recently replaced the oil filter housing gaskets so i got the coolant replacement out of the way at the same time.

I think i found the correct service #'s. Even though im not sure what the Service BH is exactly im thinking the service numbers that show up in the ASSYST PLUS menu show me what they are.

How to get into ASSYST PLUS menu:

Basic list of Service A and B. The list in the Maintenance Manual is much more detailed.

So, is Service BH just Service #'s 2,3,11 and 13?

Service B, Engine oil and filter change, Fuel filter and Coolant.

Seems to make sense since at 150k the manual shows fuel fiilter and coolant change.

really doesnt matter what the car is saying, im going through the manual and doing all the work myself anyways.

All good questions. I know that at the completion of each service, the tech is suppose to mark the service complete and it is stored in the ECU with the date, etc. of when the service was performed. That also resets the counter.

Your tranny service is overdue and I would make that a priority. While you can probably do it on jackstands on all four corners, getting the car on a lift is preferred. While I have done the service myself several times, the last time I had the dealer do it with my supplied parts for about two hours labor.
