yeah, I looked at that one, but as I dug down I didn’t see the 240 listed. I have a dipstick similar to this one, matter of fact I used it today. It is difficult to get the instrument down the dipstick tube. However, after adding a quart of oil, the dipstick shows full, and the sensor reads “OK”. I have a Baum tool ordered that will be here Thursday. I will continue to monitor. Got to get a fresh piece of cardboard cut to put on the garage floor. I haven’t been seeing any signs of an active leak. I’m not 100% sure the last oil fill was done correctly. Did it at Walmart, and they asked me to keep checking the level and tell them when it was full. We shall see.

Wrap up
Ok. I got the dipstick from the folks in CT. Aside from including a chart, which is already available on the internet, it is identical to the one I got from eBay and the one offered by the MB parts seller mentioned earlier in the thread. I sent the one back to FCP EURO today. Thankfully, I determined that it was the same thing, from the same factory in China, before I opened the package. Anyhow, the sub $20 dipsticks work just fine.
