Proper vacuum hose routing on m272 engine
While replacing the intake manifold i spent more time trying to figure out how to properly route the vacuum lines in front of the intake flap arms
the lines were always seem to be in the way of something no matter how i routed them. Very stupid design in my opinion. Theres just not enough space
anyone has a diagram of what the rocket scientists at mb were thinking? Because they either get squished or touch the solenoid arms on intake

I have the M272 engine. Which specific vacuum lines are you talking about? I can take photos of mine if you show me the area your talking about.
This article shows how to replace the intake manifold with photos. https://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...ld_Removal.htm
Should only be 2 vacuum lines that were disconnected.

I looked and have a good idea how the 3 vacuum lines are routed.
Can see 2 clear/greenish lines and 1 red line, they are routed under/behind the secondary air pump. I drew in the vacuum line that goes to the front of the intake manifold to the MAP sensor (red).
This line just goes to an elbow into the drivers side valve.
heres the vacuum line from the MAP sensor
MAP sensor vacuum line routed behind the valve.
Lines at the secondary air check valve.
