Power steering reservoir crack
I recently found a crack in the power steering reservoir where one of the hoses connect causing the fluid to leak. I had the pump including reservoir replaced and less than 100 miles later the reservoir cracked in the exact same place.
can anyone suggest what might be causing this?

If your mounts are shot, you'll have excessive movement in that area where you have the hose tugging at that outlet with every push or release of the gas pedal.

Worn engine mounts makes sense. have someone rev the engine while your watching that hose and see if it gets tight at that connection.

Motor mounts
put the selector in drive foot on brake and slowly torque the engine and observe engine movement, can also do this in reverse. Don’t stand in front of vehicle. This is called engine brake torque, but you need to know what you are doing.
