Mercedes will not move forward.

First post here hope everything is right, I’m at the final straw with this car hence asking for help here.

Bought this car a couple months ago with the issue that it would go into drive but only inch forward or backwards. Cars revs up to 3 4,00 rpm’s but will not put down power. Wheels spin according to gear it’s in. Spin pretty fast when off the ground. But once it’s in the ground nothing.

Threw in the back of the shop and finally got a parts car, which was crashed so power train worked.

Thought it would be as simple as throwing in a new tranny and
Swapped out the transmission still same issue.
Got a new TCU and reprogramed it also put a different valve body into the transmission, still same issue.
Took transmission out again and swapped out the torque coverter in.

And still nothing!!!

Their is no codes for any transmission issues and the engine sounds really healthy.

Hopefully someone can give me some ideas before I junk the car. Thank you

Where are you located?

You said no transmission codes, but did you scan with a Mercedes-specific scanner for other codes. I wonder if the wheel speed sensor could be causing traction control malfunctions. You need to better identify your car. Lots of variants for the W204.
