Man, I will have an 2003 or newer S500 within 3 years if all goes right because of room.
Getting in and out of the back seat of a C240 is not that easy. I'm 5' 9" and 170 so I am not an old man or big. Knee room as I call it isn't that great either and putting a child seat back there cna be catasrophic on my laid back seat style so I make my wife suffer when we keep my neices.
It could be a little bigger in the back seat but I could deal with a smaller trunk to keep the size down.

It works at http://www.eMercedesBenz.com I have no doubts that MB can engineer the best cars in the world. Unfortunately, it loses something in the translation when it gets to manufacturing, specially the first year. I'm looking forward to the Chery, is that coming out for 2008?

if it wasn't for the STAR, i'd say it's just another AUDI/VW that Hyundai and Kia are going to copy.

That car looks horibble if it going to look like that. I dont know what is wrong with Mercedes Benz new car designs. They are making them look like Toyotas, and Kias. Dont get me wrong we do need to wait until the car is actually released to be the judge. But the W203 has to be the best looking car for entry level Mercedes Benz.

W203 Vs The New And Upcoming W204 Pros And Cons What Do You Think ?
Well I own a 05 C230 SS W203 Mercedes Benz and I absolutely love the car. I mean the sports suspension, amg bumper, and the Bi-Xenons give the car the most agressive look. I also like that this model has the 4cyl engine, and Kompressor Supercharger unlike the 06-07 models. It gives it a bit of an edge. I like the design of this body type. With the new BMW out and the up and coming W204, I still think this is the W203 has the best body for a car today in looks alone. Its just something about this car that stands out. It all goes back to the W201 and the W202. There similar and just alike in a way. But if you add Bi-Xenons Projectors to the W202 it stands out for a good classic car. The new W204 just doesnt look too good. I dont know whats been going on with these designs. For performance Im sure it will be better but the car looks like some sort of toyota, honda, or kia lol. Perfect example the W215 can be called the best designed Mercedes Benz. The new W216 looks like a toyota solara. But I think us W203 guys will have a distinctive car on the road once the W204 comes out. Any imputs

Unfortunetely, I respect your opinion but I will totally disagree.
The W204 is much, much needed. The W203 is just embarrasing when it comes to power. It's competiting against Honda Civics, Jetta's and Mistubishi's. The W204 I think is almost 2 years late, so it's about time. I think also the W203 had great styling, but that was it. The W204 will likely have much enhanced technology (inside and out -- play MP3 CDs, better navigation, etc), improvement in a much more sporty ride (like BMW's), and offer an updated look - although the W203 doesn't look dated (yet). But trust me, when the W204 is out in it's 2nd or 3rd year, the 2005 C-Class with the AMG Body kit will start looking like the 1998 C-Class (W202). It always happens, it's the evolution of cars.
No offense to US C-Class (W203) owners. I just feel a serious upgrade was needed. I've got the C320 (2003) and the 330i (2003) and the differences are immaculate. It's night and day and I'd like to see Mercedes offer a very good competiting product. I know the E-Class is Mercedes' bread and butter, hence they prioritize that more, however, it's about time they paid mind to the C-Class.
Trust me sick_benz if you give it a chance, you'll learn to fall in love with it.
