hmm... not bad. I'm still not liking the interior, but hey it's the first year right? and, the front really really reminds me of the GL.

let's see how the C63 performs... I like how the front bumper has the chrome fog light rings and the traditional AMG design... hopefully it'll be great.

I hate the grill, it's too big and showy with not enough horizontal slats. The steering wheel sucks, the center part is way too big for sporty driving. And that center console, looks like an Acura or Honda Accord!

The current C-Class shares styling cues from the W220 S-Class, so I don't think that is it's problem. Too bad it doesn't share the interior of the S-Class...

Just a little? It makes me violently ill. Car is hideous. Looks like an Acura MDX, repleat with frisbee size emblem. And WTF ever happened to tradition? That star only belongs in the grille of a coupe or a truck.

I think the grille star on the sport models is in direct response to American consumers. Look at MB World, tons of sedan owners here have removed their hood star and replaced the grille. Since the US is the largest market for Mercedes behind Germany, they listen to what US consumers want. I personally hate when people rip off the hood star, but Mercedes is just doing what they think they need to to sell cars and that is very sad...

Another example btw, is the new ML and GL center consoles. In a presentation by the M-Class product manager for the US he said that they moved the gear selector to the steering wheel to make room for extra large cupholders that Americans want. It repulses me to think that these fine German machines are now being designed to pander to the wants of fat, stupid American consumers obsessed with conspicuous consumption.

I'm gonna wait to see this car in person. As I've always said, I'm sure I'll fall in love with it soon or later. And the W203 will be like how we view the W202 now. It's just the concept of evolution.

Agree 100%. I really wanted to stay in the MB family, but the styling alone on this thing is going to make me jump ship.

I think I might be joining you on that one. Its either a BMW 335i coupe or move way up to a CLS. For the amount of money you going to spend on C63 or making the normal stock C230 look good ,its too much of a hassel.

It amazes me how many people seem only concerned about styling features. If I was that concerned about styling, I wouldn't even consider any sedan, only coupes and convertibles.

For me, the excellent technologhy and overall package of a Mercedes are my deciding factors. This new C Class is probably one of the finest automobiles ever offered by Mercedes. It should do everything well with great handling, comfort and safety. Performance with the C350 engine is outstanding. I can hardly wait to get mine.

you can def. see chyslers thoughts are put in this car since they merged the new interior looks like the new chyslers interiors on M.O, but not for the outside and body though.
