Still kinda new to car things in general but my 2012 C300 cigarette lighter is stuck. No matter how much I press on it, it won't pop out. Am I just doing it wrong or is smth wrong with it.
With the car off and key NOT in the ignition I would use a tiny flat head screw driver and pry it out. Careful not to gouge the plastic. Can wrap the screwdriver tip in a microfiber towel to prevent scratches.
once removed give it a good cleaning. Maybe a put some silicone lubricant on a towel and wipe it down if there is any corrosion on it.
Usually when a lighter is suck in the socket it means three socket doesn't have power. There lighter would normally get HoTT and pop out. Check for a blown fuse and if not a fuse then pull it out like TimC300 said. Then test for power and fix the lighter socket if you use it.
