Ive recently aquired a 2008 C320 CDI v6. I am trying to find out if the C Class of this age/my car is equipped with a Thatcham approved cat 1 immobiliser. I have no owners manual to check! Does anybody know this? My local MB dealership says they think so, but refer to thatcham. Thatcham don't answer the phone Thank you in advance.

That isn't their website, unfortunately. Iam in the UK. Possibly only a British and/or European thing.

Its a .uk website. All it mentions is UK vehicles. So i dont know.

Yes, the alarm fitment is a country specific item. For example, here in Australia W204 series don't come fitted with any factory alarm system, just the immobiliser.
