2008 MB C300 4matic hood failing to close firmly
Hi, I own a 2008 C300 4matic sport whose hood is closing unequally. The passenger side is slightly more elevated than the driver's side, which is a tight fit. I've replaced the spring unit on the hood but there is still a gap and the hood closes unequally (too high) on the driver's side. I've had my mechanic look at it and try to fix it but he says there is no adjustment to lower the hood that already hasn't been done. My guess is that the car has been accidented on that side and may be slightly out of alignment(the panels) but does anyone have a recommendation, other than taking it to the MB dealer?

Its a good suggestion but maybe I'll start at the MB dealership and then take it to my local Bodyshop. They can verify if the car was accidented but the Bodyshop can realign things.
