High Mileage 2008 C300
I manage a used car dealership and we had a 2008 Mercedes c300 luxury traded with about 212k on it. Normally I’d try to avoid something with such high mileage, however I can get it for $2000, The exterior is flawless, interior has minor wear and tear. I’m amazed at the condition, and the fact that things such as the folding mirrors and the sunroof/sunshade are all still fully operational. No warning lights on the dash, no signs of oil sludge or leaks anywhere. I had my technician look it over and he can’t find anything wrong with it. I talked with the customer who traded it briefly and he claimed the car has never given him an issue, and has been well maintained. He actually traded for a newer E-Class in the same color.
I’m seriously debating buying it for comfortable commuter. I’ve had a few of w204s in the past and had great experiences with them, but none of which had such high miles. I understand it’s not going to last forever, but if I can get a year/10k miles on it, It’d be worth it for me. Any thoughts on this or recommendations of things to check? Thanks in advance!

Eh since when 200k is high mileage? I used to drive MB with mileage next to 0.5m. IF the car was properly serviced and driver knew how to drive a car, it's not a mileage for benz at all.
