Hy all!
I have a W204 C250 cdi with om651.911 , I send my bi-turbo /BorgWarner 1000-970-0019/ to the workshop for inspection/repair/overhaul, the reply me back with this: Dear customer Unfortunately, this turbocharger is currently unavailable, discontinued, no replacement product has been made, and cannot be repaired. What should I do in this situation?
Backstory: the engine got failure /seized/, the engine came back from the shop with all the repairs /like drill in line, surface clean etc.. all what it needs / so the engine is now sort of overhauled. this is the reason i have no trust with the aftermarket turbos, or used one neither. I know this make it hard for myself but i would like a new or factory remanufactured one.
And yes I googled it and there is some on the market, but I am not sure how can you make sure about the product is what it is you looked for but about this large amount of money I want to make sure they send me the same what I am looking for. Anyway, the reason for I made this thread, maybe there is another type or mfg date om651 turbo which could be the same
