Muffler delete and X pipe experience?
Hi guys,
Trying to revamp my sedan C300 Luxury and make it a bit more sporty and cooler. I'm in the process of switching rims and tires to 18" and maybe a subtle rear spoiler. After this, I would like to add a bit of sound by deleting muffler and putting an x pipe which I heard makes the sound more clean. Not really wanting to have a very loud sound with pops and crackles - fast and furious vibes. My goal is a bit more subtle and elegant roar, hopefully deeper tones rather than high.
If any of you guys who have done something similar, I would truly appreciate your feedback or suggestions.
- Have you deleted the main central unit plus both right and left ones too? Noticed any difference between eliminating just one or the others?
- Have you added an X pipe and noticed a difference that you liked or disliked?
- Should I keep the original pieces in case I regret it a few months later?
