Seat Adjustment.
Hi Guys, this thread was originally posted as the car was W205, have been told it is W204. I have just purchased my first Merc. a 2014 "64" plate C class 220D. I cannot for the life of me move the seat backwards and forwards. On my car, the seat controls are on the side of the seat for adjusting up and down and for the backrest. There are no controls on the door as in some models. I can only assume the fore and aft adjustment is on the centre console, but can I find it? I have looked exhaustively on the internet but cannot find my exact model on the videos. I've tried the Digital Owners Manual and it shows me a lever on front of seat which is not there on my model or on the passenger seat. Can anyone please help? Cheers Spence.

FYI—Our W203 had a forward/back lever like the videos show. We had a 2005 W163 that had the seat adjustment on the seat base and no forward/back lever on the seat front. On that seat, the forward/back adjustment was made by pushing the seat bottom adjustment forward or backward as it controlled up/down and forward/back position from the single seat bottom control. Have you tried that?
