Coolant leak
Newbie DIY-er here. Lol. Did a pressurized test and found coolant to be leaking in a couple of places - the infamous water pump cooling pipe & this area that is pictured below (view from underneath the car).
What’s in this area that could be leaking coolant? I believe I could fix the coolant pipe myself as it seems very straight forward. I’d like to gauge if I could tackle this one myself or just take it to the shop. I’d like to be somewhat informed either way so I don’t go in blind to the shop.
i uploaded a video but im not sure if it took. That’s why I attached some terrible screenshots. Sorry about that!
thanks for your time guys

Can you pressurize the system then look in there with a flash light? maybe fit a boroscope in there for a closer look.
I looked at photos of the engine and in the diagrams. The leak may be coming from around the hose #200 in the diagram.
Red square should be where the alternator mounts in the photo below: looks like a coolant hose above that area.

Tim!
Thank you so much for this. Please know this helped so much 😭 I don’t think it’s something I could do myself, but now if the shop says this is the issue I’ll have some understanding.
Where in the world did you find this awesome diagram?? Lol
thanks again!
