Becker sat nav update
Hello, I bought a second hand Becker sat nav cartridge for my 2012 C180 1.6 petrol Merc which works fine & I am wondering how to update the maps on it. I have seen updates on ebay etc which are on a SD card. Has anybody updated a Becker lately ?

They can be updated but im 99% sure you pull the GPS module that is in the glove box and hook it to a PC to update. I also believe you can still download the updates from Becker.
My opinion is that the search and add address feature's of Becker navigation suck so bad IMO.
I personally never use mine and use carplay and google maps on everything i own.
Screen updates are a plus if you wanna have better features and bigger screen.

There is an Android Auto / Apple Car play unit (wireless) that is a drop in replacement for the Becker unit. It would be better to buy one of those and be 100% up to date, plus have modern built in music apps etc.
