2023 Mercedes C300 Speaker Bass Going In and Out
The bass on the Burmester speakers keeps cutting in and out. It seems like the low frequencies aren’t connecting properly, and I suspect it might be a wiring issue. I already took the vehicle to Mercedes, and they attempted to resolve the problem by replacing the Burmester speaker in the driver-side door. They told me they ran a test and that the issue was no longer present.
However, after about two days, the problem returned. Has anyone else experienced this issue with the newer C300s? I’d like to make sure this gets resolved permanently. I’ve had the vehicle for about two years and have never dealt with issues like this before.
At first, I thought I may have blown the speakers by playing my music too loud, but since the repair, I’ve kept the volume moderate and the issue still reappeared

Check everywhere for water leaks.
My trunk seal started leaking and got into the factory amp in the trunk and blew the three small speakers in my c300 with the Harmon Karen system.

Interesting. I’m going to have a look at the trunk and see if I may have the same problem. It’s so difficult to identify the problem because the sound is not distorted from a particular speaker. I’m taking it into the dealer for a second time next week.

Give a good look and feel around. Check the spare tire well as well as inside the sides of the trunk thru the access doors. Check front carpet as well but that usually don't affect the stereo unless somehow the head unit got wet.
Water leaks are usually there first thing to look for when out of the ordinary issues pop up.

Is it just the drivers side door? Not sure of your settings but I can fade the sound left-right-front-rear. Have you tried singling out each side/speaker and listen.
