Right Rear parking light not working - bulb and board replaced
Hi,
My rear parking light will not turn on. I replaced the bulbs and confirmed they work. I also replaced the board that holds the bulbs, and the new one has the same issue. What could be causing this, and what should I check next?
Get out your multimeter and start testing. Since all the other bulbs are working im guessing ground is good. With the bulb out test the holder, which probably wont show voltage. Then test the harness connector, that bulb should be the wire labeled Fog (#4 GRN/WHT) in the wiring diagram. Bulb 1 in the photo of the tail light. See if there is any voltage. If not trace it to the rear sam.
I recently hag a front fog light out. The bulb was still good. After some testing I found the ground wire was bad so ran a new wire.
