Issue starting after fuel
I have a 2011 mercedes c300 4 matic. That i have just recently bought. Until a couple months ago It was running fine. The problem im having now is that after I get gas the car won't start up if I give it gas eventually it'll start up and if I keep the rpm high enough it won't won't shut back off.
The car has no problems turning on any other times and will run good once I get it into drive and drive off.
I don't have much mechanical experience but I was getting a code for the purge value also it was ticking loudly which I figured wasn't a good sign. I replaced that and the car was good for a while until recently again. Now im having the same issues again. Im thinking the part couldn't go bad that fast with it being new.
Im thinking it could be related to the fuel vapor flooding the system as I started waiting after I pumped gas to close the gas cap and start the car roughly 10mins and it started fine however that could also be coincidence.
The issue doesn't change if the car is hot or cold getting gas as I tired that too. The car is a weekend car as I drive a work truck through im week.
