Rear Differential - Rear mounting bushes

So upon doing an inspection of my wife's 2012 C200 I find the bushes that mount the rear of the differential have completely perished and are in need of replacement.
I can see what needs to be done to remove them but there isn't a whole lot of room around there, anyone done these before that would care to share the "easy way" to do the job?
I assume one drops & supports the differential to get access to the bushes and then just use bushing/bearing pullers to remove them?
I'll be doing the job on jack stands, not a hoist, hence my enquiry for short cuts, things to avoid, easy way to do it, I'm getting to old for these kind of jobs.

You have pictures? The bushings on my W204 all have a layer of "paint" that prevents them from degrading from exposure to the elements. This layer eventually peels off, which has no effect on functionality. Could it possibly be that?

Oh no, trust me, they're perished, all the way through from both sides.

You seeing daylight? Just making sure. Because if you're referring to that gap, that's supposed to be there.

Unfortunately we are seeing two completely different things.
