Frustrated with Mercedes.
I am frustrated with the management of the details of the new W205. We as consumers, should be getting a lot more info on a car that is gonna be out at dealers in 3-4 months. It just doesn't make any sense, the car comes out in September and we have:
-No pricing information
- Lack of internet reviews on C400 4matic and C300 4matic
- No idea if they will release a RWD variant of C400
- No idea when they will announce C450 (which will most likely be released before the C63, and the C63 has been announced and we know it'll be out in about early 2015), So, is there gonna be a C450 we should know about before settling for a non sporty AWD C400?
- Lack of support over engineering questions, (how legit is the V6 Biturbo, how long will it be in production? Etc.)
- Euro Delivery?
We have no idea what's going on and these cars are going to be popping up in September in our dealers, just frustrated with them. They are too busy figuring out which "SUV Niche" to fill next, just got word on the new GLC to stand as a coupe version of the new GLK, which is already a bigger version of the GLA, which is also related in design and idea as a "SUV coupe" to the new MLC, which is the coupe ML... 😳😳😳

I agree that base msrp should be available at this point. For those of us who are very interested in this car, yes, it is extremely frustrating. Some of us want to plan a strategy for acquiring this automobile (me included).

Relax. It's probably safe to say the price will be around where the W204 started if not a tad higher. As for engineering questions the answer to that would probably above par as MB made a successful comeback with the W204 and I'm hopeful they will continue that forward momentum. It's not like you need to know the price as I'm sure you've made the financial provisions required.
BTW check European sources for more info. Quite a few nice reviews on YT. They're in different languages but they showcase the car quite nicely which helps give an idea of how they're like. When the cars start arriving to the dealerships then test drive one. It won't really hurt if you buy one in a few months or next year.
