However, irrespective of whether they're run flats or not the 19" tyres are low profile (225/40 and 255/35) and they will inevitably crash in potholes. This web site has a useful "tyre comfort" calculator for given tyres sections: http://www.club80-90syncro.co.uk/Syn...calculator.htm The comfort values for the 19" tyres are 2.9 and 2.8 whereas the 18" are 4.7 and 4.2 and the 17" tyres are 6.4 The scale runs from 0 (very bad) to 10 (very good) comfort.
