Engine Management Light

Well, on my way back down from Scotland Thursday night my Engine Management light came on. I have racked up 2,800 miles so far up and down the country.

Took it in to the dealer and they said it was something showing up on the CAT sensor.

I spent a few hours in cruise control on the M6 going at a steady 75mph with no need to change speed as there was no traffic. Just wonder if it thought there was a fault on the sensor as the emissions were constant for such a length of time?

Overall really enjoying the car and getting used to 'trusting' the park assist option braking itself - It can really squeeze into some tight spots!

don't know about the light but as an aside, you should refrain from driving at a constant speed at a steady RPM during the break in period

Hey, did you figure out why this was? I just had the same thing happen driving back to London from Birmingham - done just over 1100 miles in my W205.

Think they'll send someone out to take a look? Had an issue before with CPA and they sent a customer service vehicle out. Don't want to wait until after the Bank Holiday.
